One of my least favourite things about this author’s writing is when the heroine which is educated, successful, and well-connected and has never done anything that would make her equipped to go on a mission and potentially come face to face with a dangerous, and potentially deadly situation chooses to do so without the help of her MAFIOSO boyfriend…?

I hate when books have frequent flashback scenes 😩 just stay in the present moment

I hate being in a reading slump! I’m literally reading ANYTHING to keep my kindle streak 😩 think I might just need to reread some old favourites until the books I want to read get published

Another 5/5 from Bree!!

I’m sad I read Power Play by Chelsea Curto first because the books are literally the same story in different font :/ so I’m finding myself more interested in other books while reading this one (I typically only read one book at a time) which sucks because I enjoy Liz’s story building and writing more, but reading a book that has the same storyline back to back nearly put me in a slump 😩

Probably my most anticipated romance read of the year ☺️
