That is the fucking worst way to start a novel. Holy shit. I don't know if I can stomach reading past the first line.

The main characters have the same name. I am never going to keep Carson and Colin separate. Way, way too similar. What a bafflingly bad choice. Also, one character said the same thing twice in a paragraph. This says it was edited and proofread. Author should get her money back.

I'm sorry, did the character just write a preamble to this fucking book? I think that is the worst beginning to a book I have ever read. What could possibly be the point of this? "This is our story." Yeah, no fucking shit it is. It's a romance book. I understand the concept. I almost take back every bad thing I've ever said about prologues. Whatever the hell that was, it's worse.

Look, I get it. Commas are confusing. But like... maybe spend ten minutes on google at least trying to learn how and when to use them before publishing a novel?

I hate both of these characters? The only character I like is the random, off-page guy on their team they mentioned once who thinks his teammates are all idiots. Because same.

Why is this book soooooooooo long? I'm so bored of these rich people.

Your male lead is an undercover government agent, and you don't put that in the blurb? It's not even that big of a reveal since you find out in the first fifth of the book.

But I keep finding myself zoning out while trying to read this, so I dunno if I'll finish it.
