This is finally getting good

I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever felt such secondhand embarrassment for a character in my life. This is the first time in a while having such a visceral reaction to a story - the cringe was unbearable, but I couldn’t put the book down and didn’t get to bed until 3am.

So tired of authors writing characters who are apathetic towards animals - YOUR CHARACTER CAN STILL BE A BADDIE WHILE HAVING SOME BASIC EMPATHY FOR WILDLIFE

The writing in this is much better than the first book, I have high hopes for this one!

I tried so hard to read something new, but I can’t stop myself from rereading this series every year, I just can’t.

Loving this a whole lot more the second time around now that I don't have socials to distract from it. It is a little slow, but Rin has a lot of character and it's refreshing.
