I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever felt such secondhand embarrassment for a character in my life. This is the first time in a while having such a visceral reaction to a story - the cringe was unbearable, but I couldn’t put the book down and didn’t get to bed until 3am.

found this at a thrift - cover looked cool, description sounded cool, let’s see if it’s any good
