Just getting into this one. Jemisin doesn't hold your hand with all the different terms so I'm going to try holding off my urge to look everything up on a fandom wiki and just try to piece things together from context clues as I go. Also, this might be my first novel in decades that uses second person narration and I oddly dig it?

I wonder if this book has a love triangle between Rune, Gideon, and Alex? I guess I'm iffy on love triangles but making the two suiters siblings does increase the drama 👀💅🏽
