I like the constant prayer aspect of this. Passing for someone's salvation over personal desires is quite admirable.

Yes, I definitely am enjoying this book. Lass raised by her mother to be God fearing. Raised by her father to be a strong highland and clansman. Her father doesn't appear to be a believer. Lad, next in succession for head clansman. List his wife in childbirth where his we bairn was stillborn. Not a Christian. Events so far leave me wishing I didn't have to work tomorrow.

Matthew 5:44 comes to mind at this point. I see a wonderful tale in the works.

Slow start. This is a hard one for me to get into. I am not impressed with the replacement of sweat words mainly because swear words are characterized by the attitude behind them not the words themselves. To me, it makes no difference what word or phrase is used, it still means the same thing.

Laughing almost non-stop, but that is probably because I am so familiar with Ms Kurland's writing style and humor. I love these books!

Margo, have you read this one? I can't wait to read the rest of this series! You are so going to like this one!

So far, a cross between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Twilight.

Starts out really gripping with riveting characters and plot line. So far I am really enjoying this.
