This story is very predictable, but I'm hanging in there because we are finally getting to experience some time travel...

I've just started the book, but I love time travel - so I am excited to dig in!

The characters have drawn me in, the writing style is enjoyable.
However I am not a fan of stories about relational dysfunction. I know its a reality in this world, but that's just it. I read for escape and enjoyment, not a depressing reminder of how marriages and families are currently falling apart.
I will continue to read the story, because I have to find out what happens to Chantal, and I really enjoy Madge.

This is a bittersweet update. The ending is coming. That I know for certain. But how will I get along without the circus, without my fellow reveurs...

Wish I was farther into the book, but life keeps getting in my way.
What a magical adventure this Night Circus is! I'm completely hooked.

darn Kindle app doesn't give me page numbers, so I can't really keep track of where I'm at. But I just started part 2, so I think I'm about 1/3 in.
This book is incredible. It's a bit dark, it's a lot fascinating, it's a great read.
I'm loving it!

I'm a few chapters in, really enjoying it so far. You can already feel the tension brewing....

This is going to be fun! Just started and I'm on chapter 4.

Trying to finish this book is like wading through sand. Uphill. With a 20 lb backpack. And it's hot out.
I wonder if I could be more dramatic?
But I'm determined to finish it.

The story has picked up some speed, I am enjoying the historical aspect. However, the author's over explanation of unimportant details is time consuming. I have yet to feel any emotional attachment to any of the characters, such is the writing style that just makes you want to get through the book so you can be done with it.

2 pages into chapter 4. I'm really struggling with this one. The story is trite and overly predictable. Usually by this point I have cast the book aside. But in my present circumstances, a book in hand is solid gold. However trite and overly predictable.
