I am actually just reading "The Question Concerning Technology".

This essay is extremely dense, philandering, and circular - it reminds me of mathematical proofs. It is best read a few pages at a time, read consistently over the span of a few days, with an effort to process, retain, and refresh what was read the day before.

This series is a delight, and is exactly what I want to read when I'm looking for something fun, escapist, and light. France, a mystery, a slow-burn romance, set in the WWII era, and with strong female protagonist(s). Julia Child being in it is a fun addition for me, but not a major draw. I know for many (most?) readers of the series, she's a major draw.

I am SO EXCITED to finally read this. It's been on my short list for over 2 years now. I fear my opinions on urban planning and design are about to become insufferable.

Just started but so excited for this one! Pausing "The Organized Mind" so I can read this one before my hold is up!

So nervous to start this one! Victoria Thompson died this year, so this is the last book in the series!

As someone with a bachelor's in Biopsychology, and who is pursuing a doctorate in neuroscience, I could smell the bullsh*t emanating from this book the moment I saw Dr. Amen in the forward. Like other readers, I concur that parts of this book seem to be founded in actual science, and other parts are pseudoscience at best.
