This whole book series is so toxic and has the worst character building. The 35 y/o characters act like 16 year olds. The amount of toxic grandparent drama and ex fiancé drama and how many times these 35 year olds refuse to stand up for themselves is excruciating. I wanted to skip the whole book.

On chapter 9 the author talks about the lemon queen sunflowers and how they found snails eating them. They proceeded to explain they took the snails and threw them on the road “and only felt a little bad”
I don’t understand why you’re writing a book about saving bees but you don’t care about the other insects you personally displace/kill while trying to document bees???
