Omg I’m trying so hard not to DNF this book.

1) I already feel like the connection that Josiah claims he has to Yasmen is shallow af. I’m trying to see if that is a part of how he processes grief or if he really is that shallow in his connection with her…

2) I cannot stand when people say “marriage is just a piece of paper” because that couldn’t be further from the truth.

I just love how humorous this book is 😂😂😂.

Also, at the present Howard is a walking micro-aggression. I can’t deal 😅.

Whoaaaaa! I kinda saw this coming but to see it happen on the pages is something else.

I feel like I’ve been enjoying this book up until now. It’s gotten a bit annoying. I understand being hurt over a break up but wym you can’t stay in your hometown you stayed in your entire life because of a short term relationship? I see why she loves him a lot but I can’t see why he would be this distraught. It would be better if we saw more of what he loved about her from his POV.
