Omg I’m trying so hard not to DNF this book.
1) I already feel like the connection that Josiah claims he has to Yasmen is shallow af. I’m trying to see if that is a part of how he processes grief or if he really is that shallow in his connection with her…
2) I cannot stand when people say “marriage is just a piece of paper” because that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Like how do you have a business and TWO kids together but marriage “a piece of paper” where you draw the line… like please. This is referring to the couple that wants to sell their restaurant to Yasmen and Josiah.
