Why allow him to worm his way into your life when it only makes it more difficult to get what you want? Why give him anything to begin with? Ugh. He just walks all over her and she's fine with it because they must get together because this is a romance

'The end justifies the means' says Russian billionaire that was trying to baby trap his fiancee with baby that wasn't hers and only proposed so he could get access to a baby that isn't his. Then tries to scaremonger Ella into changing her mind. What in the world would make Ella want anything to do with him? If this book wasn't a doller store romance, it would be a thriller

I would be pissed OFF if my sister went 'actually I don't want this baby your almost ready to birth, I'm going to practice being a white saviour in Africa to make myself feel better'. Like yes, the fmc is dumb to for agreeing to do it, especially since the couple was only together for a year, but are we going to demonise her for not wanting a child that wasn't hers in the first place?

That was ah...a little bit better than the first story. At least the fmc here knows the mmc prior, but also they have really only been 'together' for a few days before the mmc declares Will You Marry Me and I Want You To Have My Babies. A little more is also explored about the mmc but again, he's pretty shallow and turns on a dime for the fmc for no reason

Layla stroking Drakes ego being all 'your the most considerate man ever' after he comes in her and makes her have to take the morning after pill, then proceeds to be passive aggressive and controlling, getting all huffy and worked up when she asks about his past

Duuuddee acts passive aggressive and downtrodden at the fact that the woman he's only been seeing for a few days takes the morning after pill so she isn't pregnant. Drake is so clearly an asshole it hurts

Girl has only known this man for a few days, doesn't know much about him a day has refused to tell her about his past or anything really meaningful about him and yet she wants his baby???

My god. That entire chapter was agonising. Dude just completly ignored the fact he didn't use a condom (on the third time, to be facual) and just comes inside her without even asking or saying anything. Brother.

Bro wants a wife with infinite understanding, patience and love beyond measure but he won't even let a woman know about his feelings and gets incredibly mad if they don't do what he wants

Literally all of Laylas personality is being scorned by rich investors (its not like she brings it up every 5 seconds). Girl clearly states her boundaries yet he ignores it. The run on sentences are making my head hurt. Why must they ache so much

Personally Grady should have killed himself or at least actually *tried* to get off the island. The fact that he didn't just makes the fact he tries to kill his wife more stupid: he's a man of inaction. He's passive.

So Abby has a tantrum because her husband doesn't want a baby - which she's known since she's dated him - and then just decides that hey, if he won't give me one I'll spend thousands of dollars from our joint account on IVF treatments, then expect my husband to accept the fact that I'm pregnant when I telk him with the news. Yeah, he's the self centred and selfish one for sure.

So the one questionable thing that Grady did wasn't actually Grady? Like yes, I get the unreliable narrator, the fact that he drinks. But he has shown no distain towards his wife at all, there's no inkling or even a peppering of Grady having any ill will towards his wife other than the fact she wanted a baby and he didn't. He was sucked into books for sure, but trying to kill her? Aw hell no jigsaw your tripping

Girl calls her husband selfish and self-centred when he doesn't want a child like okayyy how is not wanting to handle another human life for the rest of yours selfish? She knew since the beginning that he didn't want kids and now she's spinning out
