So the one questionable thing that Grady did wasn't actually Grady? Like yes, I get the unreliable narrator, the fact that he drinks. But he has shown no distain towards his wife at all, there's no inkling or even a peppering of Grady having any ill will towards his wife other than the fact she wanted a baby and he didn't. He was sucked into books for sure, but trying to kill her? Aw hell no jigsaw your tripping

Personally Grady should have killed himself or at least actually *tried* to get off the island. The fact that he didn't just makes the fact he tries to kill his wife more stupid: he's a man of inaction. He's passive.

So Abby has a tantrum because her husband doesn't want a baby - which she's known since she's dated him - and then just decides that hey, if he won't give me one I'll spend thousands of dollars from our joint account on IVF treatments, then expect my husband to accept the fact that I'm pregnant when I telk him with the news. Yeah, he's the self centred and selfish one for sure.
