Rereading from the start. Chapter 1 is so peak man

was scared that this was gonna be lowkey white nationalist (i was wrong) but mans is spitting bars

idk how i feel about the writing. sometimes the prose is good and other times it’s stilted (which might have been done on purpose ??? when ur narrator is a god it’s bound to be unnatural)

introduces a lot of references and concepts (and it’s only the introduction 😭) so it’s kinda hard to to digest if ur just skimming lol need to be focused and locked in whenever im reading this

this reads a little bit like tumblr prose lol intro of on earth we were gorgeous left me breathless and it’s hard not to compare the two. we have passages like:

“Mornings, when the light rinses this place the shade of oatmeal,”

and

“When the prehistoric glaciers melted, the valley became a world-sized lake” ?😭

i know it’s too early to judge this hard but the first page is the most important imo

just realized that their leaders are literal pigs 😭😭😭
