History deniers beware. Only read this amazing work if you can understand facts and look at evidence with an open mind. If blind faith is your ally, don't bother. Dr. Dawkins goes through a very detailed explanation of Darwin's work and evolutionary biology. I will be re-reading chapters every now and then, just to understand it better. I can feel my neurons buzzing and making new synapses....

This is such a turgid read! The theory of reincarnation, recycling of souls, may reflect an anxiety of overcrowding, the claustrophobia of a culture fenced in! An urban angst!

The book i have has 820 pages...the whole darn thing should have been 250 pages. Too much ink wasted on gibbberish. apparently Mr Larsson hasn't heard the phrase : brevity is the soul of wit. sigh!

perhaps,the modern day fundamental hindus are up in arms about this book because Prof. Doniger's interpretation of Muller's kathenotheism and henotheism explained as "whoring after other gods"by monotheistic religions! *yawn*

Keeping up with my daughter who encouraged me to read this! it better be good. she read it in 5 hours and promises me its a page turner.
