Well, I picked this up for a possible rage-read with unrequited love and OW drama angst… and ran into a really depressing scenario with the h’s parents which hits waaaaaaay too close to home 👀… I’m not sure I’m ready for this level of realism…

Well… I thought I was in an indulgent mood…. But now I’m not so sure 👀🤣

Can I make it 56 pages with this fruit loop calling the h “Angel Princess”?? Place your wagers: 👀🤣🤣🫠

How is it possible for a 100 page book to feel so loooooooong?? Are we there yet? 🫠

All the “darlings and “my loves” are nauseating 🤣🙄

Are there New Adult Holiday books?? Why are they all 30-something 2nd chance single mom small town divorcé books? I want Santa to show up at college and gift the nerd tutor with the hottie football player. Does that exist?? 🤣🎅🏻🎄

So far the story is a bit convoluted and difficult to follow with too many not super distinctive characters… and the 3rd person POV, which I normal like, seems to be compounding the confusion. At this point I’m just hanging on for the OW drama, since Tensley (👀 are you kidding me with this name?? 🤡) seems to be already spoken for by a Queen B*tch - which is my fav 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

I’d be way more into this if AZ hadn’t decided to go back and forth with the timelines… 😵‍💫😵‍💫 characters, story, & POV are winners but the way it’s presented in EXCRUCIATING. 🫠
