this book is not good writing.

But is it entertaining? Yep!

Jinho sobbing because “boss” hasn’t called him in a bit will be living rent-free in my head for a while - he is adorable and I love his relationship with Jinwoo

ummm so one Dramione fic was not enough

I fear this book may be distracting me from life’s more pressing matters

The writing is throwing me off. The tenses keep switching, and the story wishes it was a clever biography (even Dewey the cat was better). The dialogue is really stilted for some reason, and the writing comes across as “factual” but doesn’t even flow like a normal “dry” biography. Somehow the sentences are very normal and plain but they don’t flow together at all??

Story is supposed to be good though..

The writing is gorgeous and atmospheric and once I suspend the immediate disbelief of her hating a man she’s never seen before and assume he is absolutely evil without any evidence, the story is really good!

I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this book for so long.

It’s giving Strange the Dreamer vibes mixed with something new and I love it.

He only cares about her power. She is enslaved by him and probably has Stockholm syndrome. Neither cares about or admires the other’s character. Why are they getting together?
