i'm not usually a manga reader, but this series is so good and i've already cried twice

a nonbinary character is tall and beefy and already im sold <3

taking breaks while reading this one, y'all. it's real heavy. real good, but real heavy.

to be HONEST, i'm not mcloving this one. it's a little too ~clever~, it feels like something i would've LOVED at 19, because i thought i was so very clever and smart and ~understood hamlet~ in the way that many queer young adults feel.
i'm going to finish it, but i did have to take a break for a bit.

my attention span died but it's back, baby!! not the fault of this book at ALL. it's so so good, y'all.

these are deeply weird post-apocalyptic graphic novels about genetically inhanced hamsters living in a post-humanity world. incredibly violent, with very good and accurate hamster information. i do not know how i feel about any of this, but i do appreciate accurate hamster information.

i'm not loving this one; it's a little too ~classic~ for me. i'll finish it, most likely, but the voice is a little dry and it sort of feels like a rpg backstory that exploded into a novel, which isn't a BAD thing but it's a little dry nonetheless.

definitely less 'romcom' than it appears, but this messy emotional drama between queer masculine teenagers and their friends is still very compelling.

I know that these books are nebulously canon in regards to the whole extended Star Trek book series etc etc etc but HOT DIGGITY am I excited for the Picard show!!!!

Oh, lordy-- sailing ships, theaters, time-slipping narratives... this is bound to make me cry, I just know it.

Listening to the audiobook on my commute and it's amazing.

Just updating progress to tell everyone the exact amount of nostalgia I'm having reading this short story collection. It's the dust and farm-shit smell of the children's library where I grew up, and the spider-webs in the corners of the taxidermy on the shelving.

Taking this book slow due to heavy emotional content.

this book is a wild ride from start to finish-- i've kept up on this story for the last couple years, but carreyou's detailed investigation reveals so many more layers to this bananas story that make it a delightful nightmare to read.
