It crazy how kids suffer like mago Carlos and Reyna also Betty .How can parents leave them with no money and for men and women .Mago got a job bcs Betty got sick and their mom wants to be in their life all of a sudden .

I love it that they’re growing up and their seeing the truth that there mom left them.
But they have a faith their dad is coming back.

It’s getting way better like for them and their parents. At some point their parents didn’t forget about them but they didn’t have enough money to buy them stuff and send them to them since they have a sibling who is from the United States they thought they where going to be left behind.

It’s the best book!!
But it’s getting better how they just entered school and they can’t afford books but instead of buying uniforms you could sew them. That’s cool but they don’t care of getting laughed at.

It’s getting sad how they are getting called because their parents left them to go to the United States . But there being tough about it even if they break down they know their toughs

But there still believing there mom and dad going back to Mexico from Guerrero when they know it’s not going to happen

It’s sad how there grandmothers treat Reyna and there siblings get treated I love this book I feel connected about being treated different from family members and them not caring but wanting lots of favors (money)
