I AM SO SICK OF HEARING ABOUT THE WAR. I’m over 6 hours into the audiobook and the word influenza has been said maybe 3 times. I am losing my patience with this book and have a strong feeling I will not be finishing it. There’s 14 hours left and at this rate I am not gonna make it!!!!

I’m 2 hours and 17 mins into the audiobook and we have not discussed the actual influenza outbreak at all and I’m BORED

I’m about 60% done with this and I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish it. There’s some good stuff in here but really this is just the same three ideas repeated over and over and over. Extremely repetitive and it’s actually pissing me off lol

This was on my list and I don’t remember putting it there lol but anyway, I’m 30% in and this Irish woman talks a LOT about people’s genitals. It’s… something

Maybe I need to get further into this audiobook but I’m 2 hours in and extremely bored!! I thought there might be a little more medical/science talk and not as much talk about ancient guys that did xyz and how vampires may have been rabid or something. Still figuring out if I can stick this one out.

Reading this one again because there’s so much to unpack. One time is not enough.

I’m taking my time with this one and highlighting stuff, the whole 9 yards. I’m really enjoying it so far.

I’m going to be 75 by the time I finish this but
I am really into it.

I’ve come too far to not finish this but it is getting harder to continue lol. I love her writing but this book is just not for me. Like another reviewer said it’s like a drawn out lifetime movie.

I love Margaret Atwood’s writing! Unfortunately I’m pushing to finish this book. It seems to just go on and on and on and I’ll get interested and then it fizzles out again. It’s not terrible by any means, I’m enjoying it, it just hasn’t kept my attention as much as her other books. I like how all the women’s stories are intertwining as they get explained. I’m confused about Zenia though. We’ll see!

I have always been super interested in looking at peoples’ stuff/what they put on their desks at work/how they arrange their shelves and stuff like that and always felt like a little like a creep but this book is so validating already lol. I’m interested in the different studies the author has mentioned so far about what peoples’ belongings are conveying about them on a deeper level. Loving this so far!!!

Was pretty into it until the endless chapters of grandpa’s writing. Parts of it are cool but most of the grandpa writing stuff is really boring the hell out of me, probably because all this shit that’s going on in Dominick’s real life is happening? Then it cuts to the Italian man that’s mad at god or whatever. I’m almost done though I’m gonna push through it lol
