I don't know why I'm finding this so difficult to read...
But it literally feels like a chore to open up the app and read this book.

This is literally Scotland and the French.
It's... disconcerting in a hilarious way.

I haven't started rereading this, but my GoodReads is having a moment and saying I'm at -1 books currently reading. So this sets it back to 0 😘

GoodReads recommended this as a thriller, but honestly this sounds hilarious.

Because I found out that one of my favourite crack movies is also a book, so of course I'm going to read it

I'm gonna reread this book to make myself feel better. It has a sassy soldier woman called "Mother", short for "Motherfucker", and right now I need to read about her punching someone.

Dnf at 35%

My Lord alive, I just couldn't get into this book. It reads like it was written by a man, for men. The female character is betrayed by her uncle, which of course the male character saw coming but she didn't. She was captured but he managed to escape. I'm so over this whole "Damsel in distress" bollocks, it ruins the whole premise for me.

So far not impressed.
The foreign language sections read like Google translate.

I was told this is good...

I better not be disappointed.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for post-Victorian suffragettes

I bought book 2, so now I have to read book 1. I only hope that Andy dumps her shitty boyfriend in the book instead of picking his bullshit over her job like the film...

This is difficult going, and Geralt needs a slap, but I'm committed at this point...
