funny, i thought Kurzweil was putting to much background into his ' predictions'. turns out that the lack of it (so far) impact the credibility of Kaku's... Still a very interesting book

Jose is 25% done with The Desert Spear (The Demon Cycle, #2)
I took almost a year brake from the book. I had a hard time enjoying the 'other' side of the story. Plus i had a hard time with the back an forth in time.
But now, i can't put it down. Still have a hard time with the structure but the story is really good. I'll let you know when i'm done ;o)

Interesting, so far it compared the survival of the fittest with the compassion at the biological level. He makes a compelling case for the "compassion" in the animal world. Mostly looking at bonobos behaviors.
