I really wanted to like this book.
I'm listening to the audio book. Tom Hanks is reading, plus several other voice actors.
With an audio book, the only thing worse than one actor who can't do voices, is multiple actors who can't do voices but still voicing multiple parts.
They divided into sections, instead of characters. The story jumps in time, location, character, and narrator. It's too confusing to understand.

The premise is intriguing. I like the story so far. Do not listen to this book, at least not the version read by Stefan Rudnicki.

3 things required for a good audio book:
The ability to create multiple, individual voices.

The ability to hold the voice, stay in character, no matter how long that character is speaking

Most importantly, their main voice, for the main character, suits that character.

He does not.

The misgendering in this book is painful to listen to. I hope it gets better.

Almost 30 hours of audio book. It felt like a minute by minute replay of 8 years in office. I like him, but his wife's book is much more fun. This book is interesting but long and difficult to wade through.
