I planned on starting this before the new year to get a start on stupid 2026 goal. That didn't happen, but I listened to at least half of this short today.

Not sure why this book even exists yet, but I do love serviceberry trees. I have a spot in my garden with two or three struggling aspen trees. I should probably replace those trees with serviceberries in the spring. I'd like to pleach them. That would be fun.

I'm just now getting into the meat of this book. (No pun intended.)

The first half basically tells the reader, "Once we tell you the secret, you'll understand."

Good. Great. Get on with it!!!

I'm trying to reach 50 books by the end of the year. Most of the shorter books in my library are about death. Sheesh!

This one isn't about grief ... so far. It's mainly about a child actress having a shitty stage mom.

The female voice actor of this book is unbelievably corny.
