Just got to the first sex scene and I’m sooooo bored. Been bored the whole time but hoped for more from the sex but sadly just more boredom

A lot of times things are being said that seem out of context and out of know where. I’m hoping these things will be explained as the story moves a long. I keep feeling like I’ forgotten or missed something and it’s pulling me out of the story. It’s a really shame I really enjoyed the first book. Lots of survivors guilt in here and lots of traveling slow paced dialect. Feeling sad for Zylah but getting bored

I wish someone would realise what Zylah is doing to herself mentally. I wish they would notice and tell her it’s not her fault and she isn’t a monster. Give her a hug.
I know that Holt is suffering too so that’s why but it’s so hard to listen to her beat herself up over things she has no control over.

Why does Zylah hate and blame herself so much for peoples deaths that are fighting in the resistance? Yes they died when she was part of the group, but they where fighting and dying before she was even born. They didn’t just start dying when she turned up. Yes I understand survivors guilt but still this hasn’t even come up once!

Of course acani berries = Holt. St least now I know. 😂

Ok so Zylah is smelling berries. I know that it’s link to someone from the first book, but for the life of me I can’t remember who? 🤦‍♀️

HELP!!!😭😭 I’m in a down ward spiral book slump💔💔. I’m about a 100 pages into book lovers and feather and flame. I keep bouncing backwards and forwards between these two and all I want to do is throw them and scream. They aren’t bad books it’s just me. The last books I really loved were peace and turmoil and the winnowing flame trilogy. Can anyone give me so recommendations??

So going to start I kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston. I loved one last stop but found red white and royal blue a like lacking. What one was your favourite and why???
