the way that i was so excited to read this book and it felt like slowly yanking my teeth out one by one
most validating thing was in my discussion group in class 5 out of 6 people couldn't even finish the book

finally in an english class where i just read books

i need this book to be OVERRRRR dear lord

also it's a little terrifying to be reading about this alternate america where the south secedes after today's supreme court decision and every other education ban that's happened and it's def freaking me out
