Another observation from this lovely novel:

Just IMAGINE how the divide or lack of understanding that often exists between the generations in a family might simply vanish...
If those folks would only make time to simply talk to one another. Or to make the time to share reminiscences and life experiences with one another. Oh, the things they would learn! And they would discover that wisdom flows in all directions!

I have read 15 pages... and I ADORE this novel! It, I believe, will offer a unique take on the clichéd phrase "Families are complicated."

Holy Hannah, this is an amazing genre blending novel! Sci-fi, magical realism, romantic dramedy! Epic timelines and unexpected and uniquely developed characters *book living* between/within/outside of (?!) the recent past/ near present?? Inquiring minds(mine!!) want to know. I don't want this epic story to end! (Also: a SNL/Hollywood storyline that is very satisfying!) More to follow!
