Watched the film last night at the Art Center. I picked this up immediately after, and already so enthralled by this. I read during breakfast. While warming up my car. Almost forgot to walk the dog. I left my phone at home. I was almost late to a meeting. I'm in Maggie's CLUTCHES rn.

I just don't think this one was for me. The letters format felt really choppy and very drawn out. Too academic, maybe? I wanted to be in on the investigation, not be the investigator.

This one’s going in the DNF pile - not sure where people are getting “sharp writing” and “Lynchian?” It’s sadness porn. I don’t want to read 100 pages of recounted trauma
