Unfortunately, I ended up DNFing this one, though my reasons had more to do with the reading experience than the book itself. The NetGalley copy wasn't available to send to Kindle, which meant I had to read it through the NetGalley Reader app. I find that much less comfortable and convenient than reading on my Kindle, and it made it difficult to stay engaged with such a dense and serious work.
