Wayne finds out that the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children had investigated his parents case. Wayne went to the State Department of Human Services and was able to get a file on his parents' case.

Bilbo gets all the dwarves out of the prison and sneaks them into old barrels being sent out of the dungeon. They sit in the barrels and ride the waterway out to the lake.

Greyson manages to foil the unsavories plans and save Scythe Curie and Scythe Anastasia. Purity and the other unsavories are gleaned at the scene, but Greyson escapes.

Boggs is mutilated by a bomb and dies. Peeta goes mad and throws Mitchell accidentally sending him into a net trap where he dies when the black wave of tar sweeps over him.

The Capitol bombs District 13, but everyone makes it to safety due to Peeta's warning of the attack. A team of rebels goes to the Capitol to save Peeta and the other tributes who were taken.

Citra talks Scythe Constantine into letting her glean her last three people and be bait for whoever is trying to kill her and Scythe Curie. Greyson Tolliver takes on the name Slayd and embraces the life of an Unsavory.

The career tributes attack Katniss and her group, killing Wiress. Katniss and Johanna manage to kill Gloss and Cashmere, but the other two careers escape.

Scythe Anastasia spends Thanksgiving at her parents house and realizes it is no longer her home. Greyson throws himself in front of Scythe Curie and Scythe Anastasia's car to stop them from driving into a trap.

Citra and Rowan meet up. Rowan is being hunted by Scythe Constantine.

Cassie gets in trouble for crying and talking and is sent to OP. Cassie decides that even if she has to wait until she turns eighteen she will get out and expose her stepfather, Rick, and Peaceful Cove to the world.

The reporter won´t help Cassie and Thatcher because they don´t have real evidence of kids dying after taking socom. Cassie meets Rebecca who helps and teaches Cassie all the rules at Peaceful Cove.

I just read the first chapter of this book and so far we know that Kelly is a young girl who hasn´t had an easy life. Her rough past has lead her to make some poor decisions and now she has been sent away to get help.

McVay was convicted of hazarding his ship by failing to zigzag. He was acquitted of the charge of failing to give the order to abandon ship. Charles McVay committed suicide on November 6, 1968.

McVay is being court-martialed. Survivors of the incident are brought in to testify.

When the Indianapolis sank, many of the men made it into the water and drifted away for five days. Men died from their wounds, exposure, and shark attacks. 880 men died and 317 survived.

The USS Indianapolis was hit by two torpedoes while making its way through the Peddie route. The I-58 submarine, captained by Mochitsura Hashimoto, fired the torpedoes.

I enjoy reading books that have to do with the military. So far its been interesting reading about one of the Navy's biggest disasters during the end of WW II.

I just started this book and found the preface interesting. Its strange that so little was known about the USS Indianapolis until a young boy, Hunter Scott, decided to do a little digging. Hunter found out that an injustice was made against the captain of the USS Indianapolis, Captain McVay, and decided to make it his mission to clear his name.

Citra is charged with the murder of Scythe Faraday, but escapes and finds Scythe Faraday alive. Rowan kills Scythes Goddard, Rand, and Chomsky and burns the bodies.

Citra and Rowan go to Harvest Conclave. Rowan snaps Citra's neck to get himself disqualified from the match and fail the test.

Citra and Rowan both failed their tests at the conclave. Scythe Faraday gleaned himself. Citra is now Scythe Curie's apprentice and Rowan is Scythe Goddard's apprentice.

I like this book so far. I find it interesting to see a world that has achieved immortality. So far the story has been following Citra and Rowan, both of which have been chosen to apprentice Scythe Faraday. They have been training to be scythes and are preparing to go to their first Vernal Conclave.
