if you don’t think you should have to, then who should?

overwhelm is when the tasks are greater than the time you have

Ask: what needs done in the next week, 3 days, day, hour? To reduce overwhelm and stress. Loving this question!

What you love knocks quietly; what you like leans on the doorbell.

Do less of what you like and more of what you love!

“I could have done it if I wanted to” is an illusion. Oof 😅 Remarkable people give themselves permission to keep things simple. Just do the things without adding a bunch of complex steps!

why do we keep trying again and again and again? Because deep down, we know we were made for remarkable. We have the image of God stamped on our souls!

Tie crazy, audacious dreams to tiny, achievable actions.

The opposite of procrastination is not productivity, it’s remarkable 😅

Talk about a gut punch that hurts so good. When it comes down to it, remarkable is way better than productivity anyways 😆

Productivity becomes expensive busy work without taking time to evaluate your direction 😅

Loved taking this into looking at my week and my priorities. Is this valuable? Is it working? Am I the only one who can do this? Is this 10x for my family, calling, and current age and stage of life?

Procrastinating isn’t a laziness problem, it’s a permission problem. Eliminating procrastination is one of the few forms of instantaneous life Change. Give yourself the permission to dream, plan, do, and review!

Move as fast as you can but not any faster 😊

Steve Jobs was more proud of what Apple said NO to than what they said yes to! Crazy.

Love the desire to get after it and strategically simplify things to fit into the journey!

The fight for focus never ends. Eliminate everything that doesn't contribute to our spiritual transformation.

structure the budget around the discipleship journey. Where are the holes? What are we missing? Excited to lead through this! Continue bridging the Wednesday—Sunday gap. Continue overlapping discipleship with serving. Continue enforcing the commit step of someone making themselves known!

theological alignment feeds philosophical alignment. Implement the journey from old to young! Keep establishing theological alignment so that we can have philosophical alignment 💪

Mostly brainstorming environments for those new to church…excited to see what comes of it! The main thing is we have to be aligned around the journey. We need unity because it reflects God’s heart and is attractive to people!

Relationships are the bridge in someone else's discipleship journey! I love that we've built a bridge for people to move through the journey with our welcome team idea. Christopher is brilliant.

Jesus wants us to be expectant for Him to show up and provide more than we could ask, think, or imagine! He does NOT want us to believe that it's only a matter of time before things go wrong.

As leaders, we’re to partner with God in His transformation process. Attach one program to each step. This is gonna be tough lol but fun!! Focus is 1,000 “no’s”

Philip in Acts 8 wasn’t the apostle Philip, he was a different Philip 🤯 come alongside people and START with Scripture!! Hold onto Truth and Hope

The journey must be interwoven into the DNA of the church!

Simple simple simple. View numbers horizontally, literally!

This book is changing so much of how I view the purpose of the church and the purpose of us as disciples!

The whole New Testament was written by disciple-makers, to disciple-makers, about discipleship!!

Discipleship isn’t the end…the end is walking with insiders to invite outsiders to be insiders

Evangelism and discipleship is about inviting people into a shared relationship with our Heavenly Father and it completes our joy!

Identify who God is calling you to “bring in” and pursue them with purpose!!

We’ve already beat the gates of hell…so much do we want to run up the score?! 🔥

Love the direction of overlapping each step going into the fall. It’s time for those plugged into discipleship to serve!!

Focus is the fuel! Don’t be mean in saying no, but be determined!

God’s game plan for revealing His character to the world:

The truth of the Father is revealed in the Son and is expressed through Holy Spirit through a mature disciple.

- Clarity and simplicity are GREAT friends!

- Lean-into empowering leaders to follow-up with people to encourage them to MOVE from “come and see” to “follow Me” to “engage with Me.”
