As believers, we are high-impact spiritual machines!! Focus that energy towards your 8-12 closest relationships who have a front row seat in your life. WATCH others catch on!

Jesus came to make the complex simple! Adamantly oppose anything that keeps people from encountering Jesus. Be adamantly persistent about anything that does.

In the Trinity, each DESIRES and STRIVES to honor the other! This desire and effort is SO STRONG that it can only be manifested in a Person—Holy Spirit! 🔥

My job? Inhabit my “Jesus role” of a self-sacrificing servant leader.

Spiritually discerning spouses see who God is making the other person to be and it excites them! They want to be a part of what God is doing and who God is making them to be!

I wanna join God in who He’s making Cait to be! 😆…to look at her life and get excited!

Marriage holds such power of truth and love that the consistent affirmation and encouragement of a spouse can replace broken beliefs that have been engrained in our hearts and heads for years

marriage has to take priority because marriage has the power to lift up or tear down every other area of your life.

the action of love feeds affection and affection then feeds the action. When paired together, that brings ultimate satisfaction to both people. Do the thing to get more energy to do the thing!! Love Cait to feel love for Cait and to feel love for Cait, love Cait! 🥰

The reason why two become one is to reflect the image of God we were originally created to reflect! To fear God means to be controlled and overwhelmed by Him. I’m called to maintain unity with Cait by being overwhelmed and controlled by Jesus so that I live a life of elevating her needs over my wants and serving her. Just like God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit maintain unity in the trinity by serving each other!

Jesus is the Master of simple. He condensed 613 complex laws down into one statement! Why? Because He knew people crave simplicity.

In a world where complexity is the norm, the church can be a relief by offering a simple (though not easy) path for following Jesus. Let’s partner with Him in that!!!

The idea that the message of Jesus is supposed to be a reflection of marriage, and marriage is supposed to be a reflection of the message of Jesus is really hitting hard.

What’s the message of Jesus? He gave Himself up for us! That’s HARD. Therefore, marriage is going to be HARD! But still SO SO SO SO GOOD because Jesus is SO SO SO SO GOOD!!

I love you, Cait 🥰

Don’t be afraid to quit tactics that aren’t working. Tactics were made for man, man was not made for tactics.

The sales story rocked my world. Many give up on the 5th try but the 7th is when people most likely said yes.

If they can tell what you’re offering benefits both them and you and you’re persistent, sincerity will show!

Loving the idea of being the best in the world!!! We just have to decide whose world we want to be the best in.

I want to be the best in Cait’s, my family and friend’s, and our church’s world.

This requires strategically quitting certain things!

Leverage conviction and regret as a catalyst for change!

Love how this indirectly led to affirming my word of the year and habit for the year. Come on, God 😆

People deliver on what they own!

How can we encourage people to own things? Lead them in accomplishing great things, but let them choose how they do them.

Focus on developing people rather than just getting things done.

- Achieving goals is a means to developing and discipling people. Not the other way around.

- Focusing on investing in people ironically leads to more getting done!

The team and organization moves at the pace of its leader.

vision isn’t soft or fluffy. A compelling one is what you need to keep you going and help people move in the right direction

Put that vision into action!! Keep simplifying complex systems!

—Many of us believe in order to get ENOUGH out of life, we have to be fully-stocked, fully-committed, fully, scheduled, and living life on the run.

—But do we? Being a great follower of Jesus, husband, and pastor comes with consistent actions done greatly over time! Building a great church comes with consistent growth from successful things done greatly over-time.

a 12 week year helps you be focused on being great at a few things rather than being distracted and mediocre at a few things

I also really love the "tactics" idea of writing down everything you think you need to do to achieve the 12 week goal and breaking those down into months and weeks. Think sprinting!

Virtually useless but fun and funny 😂

The 12 week year mindset forces you to get clear on what you're best at because there's not enough time to screw around lol it forces you to focus on the critical activity that matters the MOST and say NO to other things.

Loving this for personal and church stuff. I love how God speaks in ways I would never expect.
