Has it really been 3 years since I received this ARC? It is an interesting take on how Christians use Tarot in prayer. She goes a bit into the history of where Tarot began but also mentions that no one really knows. I'm not sure if I would use this in my life, but if it helps people with prayer prompts akin to journal prompts, I don't see any harm. This book hasn't convinced me one way or another. Interesting,though.

This came yesterday. I'll start vetting this for our youngest grandchild. It looks like I'll make this into a book experience for Christmas. Now I just need some puzzles and gift ideas. A Vermeer art book of paintings will be on the list, as she will have to go in and study some paintings for clues in solving the mystery. Side note: As soon as she could walk, she would go to the bookshelf and drag out my art books.

Okay, wow! I'm trying to talk my husband into going to the beach for a week so I can just focus on reading this book. So it's on hold for now. This is going to take some concentration.

I'm not enjoying this. I take the blame, as it is not my favorite writing style. There are seven timelines and about seven or more perspectives.

Usually when I come across a book like this, I will read 5 chapters from 1 perspective, then go back and read 5 chapters from another perspective, using annotated sticky tape to keep track of where I read and need to go. I'm reading this on a Kindle, and that is troublesome

Another buddy read with the grandkids as soon as the books arrive.

I have put this off because I know this is going to frustrate me. I'm also not going to like how women are treated. But I'm giving it a try; anyway, it's been way too long. I am looking forward to figuring out this difficult read.

I'm enjoying the Read Well philosophy book club. We are asked to read only 15 pages a day, slow down, take notes, and process the book.

Glad I am listening to this. It is interesting, but I don't think I would finish if I were reading.
