I should’ve read the synopsis instead did just grabbing this by title. Not sure what it says about me that I was disappointed it was not a mother daughter serial killer duo story but basically Gilmore Girls solve a murder. It wasn’t bad just not that interesting.

Disliked this so much I thought I should redo my review for the first one :( to boring

This reads like a high schooler wrote it which to be fair had I read this in my high school dystopia phase I’m sure I would’ve ate it up. I feel like I should give the second one a chance because I was really looking forward to this series and it seemed to be such a hit but this was pretty cringey.

Trashy summer read but entertaining. This did not need to be over 500 pages though 2.5⭐️

Wow, even with this book’s popularity, I had low expectations. This is what they mean when an author has “voice.”

I want to finish this but it’s putting me in a reading slump. If I have to read “there she is” one more time I will cry from cringing

Every character in this book is unlikable but it was an interesting premise and fascinating through to the ending

Probably shouldn’t have binged this series because was honestly over it by this book :/ but if I spread it out more I maybe would have enjoyed this more as it was a good fantasy novel objectively
