No one describes cold like Fredrik Backman i think. I loved 'A man called Ove' and I already enjoy reading this. Though the book might look a little familiar to YA readers, the sensibility of the author to describe an emotion stands out. It's a mature and honest take on lives of a small town kids who are living on the ever cold 'Beartown'

Book gives an insight into the lives of Japanese immigrants in north Korea.. But if you see it from a broader perspective , the ideas fit to any minorities facing discrimination and bigotry
