I was in a huge reading slump but I think its getting better now

Oh my goodness Lila is so annoying! She thinks that she's a pirate and is always pretending to be so brave. She is always complaining about Kell WHEN SHE DOESN'T KNOW THE WHOLE STORY.

Well honey I'm sorry that Kell wasn't here to save your ass for the billionth time but just so you know, he was just forced to kill Holland so maybe you can shut you mouth for once!

Ok, I've heard many, many, MANY good things about this book so I have really high expectations. I sure hope this won't disappoint!

Honestly, I don't know why I'm reading this. I did not like An Enchantment of Ravens (that's a big understatement) so I have like ZERO expectations for this.

Omg one of my favorite parts of this book

Looking at her, he was in London again. He saw the gaslight and smelled the smoke and dirt and horses, the metallic tang of fog, the flowers in Kew Garden. He saw a boy with black hair and blue eyes like Alec's, heard violin music like silver water. Saw a girl with long brown curls and a serious face.


Omg the infernal devices

"Devil's Snare, Devil's Snare...what did Professor Sprount say?-it likes the dark and damp-"

So light a fire!" Harry choked.

"Yes-of course-but there's no wood!" Hermione cried, wringing her hands.

"HAVE YOU GONE MAD?" Ron bellowed. "ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?"

Ugggg Clary is so annoying! She's just so naive and thinks that everything in the world is about her!

Nova thinks she's so cool and just refuses help from anyone, even when she needs it. All of the characters seem like their just playing dress-up and pretending to be superheros and villains.

Nova is so annoying, like JUST PULL THE TRIGGER ALREADY! Also, she doesn't seem like a villain, she just seems like a girl trying to tough and cool. I don't like her.

At this, Hermione stood up, her hand stretching toward the dungeon ceiling.
