I don't know where we're really going plot wise, for now it seems like we're just getting to know the area, the characters and Janina's mind!

Again very quick and the action makes it a little hard to follow but poor Bakugo!! Someone save the poor boy!!

I already dislike Big Foot, abuse is abuse, whether it's for animals or people and clearly he was abusing his dog, bless Janine for trying to help the dog though!

The fighting is awesome but I was confused at some moments!! But that can't be helped when all that action is happening!

I know they meant well, but they definitely should not have touched, removed and moved Big Foots body!! That's the number one rule!! 😧

Poor Todoroki for having to defeat his brother like that, but it was needed for the overall fight - and I kind of predicted he'd win - but it's all good!

Poor Momoko, I judged her too harshly.

I have to take a break from this section of the book because it's too heavy, too real.

Ahhhh I'm so uncomfortable.... As someone who loves watching behind the scenes media, I thought it'd be interesting to learn about Jennette's experience with iCarly but all I've felt so far is how uncomfortable and awkward it was for her - which in return reflects on me - but somehow in the best way?

So Takako seems to be entertaining the beginnings of a new romance? So that's good! But I don't trust Momoko returning, she's either in trouble and hiding or she's trying to get something from Satoru!

It's clear that Jennette's mum is becoming more controlling towards her as she's getting older, plus with Jennette herself going through her own internal struggles I can't imagine how confusing it must've been.

I'm listening to the audio book on Spotify and the way Jennette writes/says these chapters is so entertaining to me. Obviously it's heartbreaking to hear as it was real life but the way she chooses to show both the good and the bad in equal ways makes me want to finish the book within a day!

Thank god the detective told Chloe to stop cause she's not helping, it's what I've been thinking forever and I feel like she feels like she's the only one who can find the killer cause she happened to help incarcerate her father when she was a child, it's so annoying!! Also I'm 100% sure her fiancé is cheating.

I think she's suspecting the wrong guy again, it'd make sense with the way she's thinking but I think it's too obvious! Plus I think he's cheating on her, it makes sense for the whole going away for meetings and events all the time!

I don't think Bert did it, I think it's too coincidental and obvious for it to be him - it's definitely somebody else!

Okay so we're finally starting to get into the present day plot! The writing has improved a little for these past few chapters as well, which has helped my attention span!

Look, I enjoy the flashbacks to her childhood and meeting her fiancé, but I just can't stand the writing style. It's getting on my nerves.

It's actually quite scary how much I relate to Takako - I feel like I'm reading her experiences as my own! Also, I'm loving this cute little romance they introduced, I hope they get together!

I don't think I've related so much to a character within one chapter 😅😂

I'm not really enjoying the writing style, I feel like every other emotion, person, object & past event is over described and it's diverting the plot from moving forward and the chance to bond with other characters

I'm not really liking the style of writing, it feels more like a description on anything and everything just to get the word count - than to actually move along the plot or to help us get to know the character

I think this has been my favourite chapter so far, I know there's only one chapter left but still! I love how Isabel has acted and changed this chapter, it's not been a huge change but sometimes the little changes are what matters more.
