I'm more concerned on where her other two selves have gone than where she's going to go with Thanatos and Charon! Part 3 here I come!

The fact that we've met Hermes and Thanatos is interesting because I researched that, depending on who is telling you the story, Hekate ended up with Hermes as his consort, so I wonder if the author will change it up and make Thanatos the lover instead?

I'm recognising a lot of the stories from ancient greek god history, and it's interesting to see from Hekate's pov! I'm not too sure where this is going to go but I'm intrigued to find out!

An interesting start to the book, it's taken me longer than I would of liked to have read the first chapter, but I felt like I needed to reread it a lot to get an idea on who was who! Also I felt like the misogyny and expectations for women in Japan are so unfair, and this being chapter 1, I can imagine how much worse it's about to become!

I've enjoyed part 2 a lot more than part 1, we're seeing more of the world and getting to know Hana and Kei more. I just wish it wasn't so fast paced!

Such an interesting writing style, I'm hooked!! I'm pretty familiar with Greek Gods already but not Hekate, so I'm excited to see where the rest of the story leads!

Kei and Hana are cute, but I'm not really feeling their chemistry - the writing is so fast and their romance seems so sudden, I'm not sure I like it 😕

An interesting start to part 1! It's a little fast with Kei and Hana's relationship so I don't really feel connect to them yet. Part 2 here I come!

See this is why when I first read Lucien and Feyre's bonding chapters, I thought they'd end up together, they just get each other!!

I feel so sorry for Feyre, can you imagine, you've been taken from everything you've ever known and just when you're giving up your father comes for you, and you think you can go back, only to find that it's a creature that wanted to eat you?!? I would've sobbed 😭💔

I'm not a puzzle girl, so all of these puzzles are confusing me, and the whole book seems to be moving very fast right now - like Kei has just met Hana and yet he's already got a crush on her and is basically ready to trust her blindly??? Not for me.

I love the idea of the choices becoming birds after you exchange them for happiness, it's such an interesting concept!! The father seems like he knows more than what he's letting on and I sense a romance incoming from Kei!!

An interesting start to the book, I can't lie and thought the dad had died of a heart attack but quickly realised it was just a flashback 😅

These chapters are hitting a bit too close to home, I don't know how to feel about it 😞

my heart goes out for Takano and Tomoko, he's awkward and she's damaged but they're finding their own way - Wada #1 I'm still 50/50 with and I'm also convinced that the author is Wada and this is the novel that he talks about and published

I don't know, there's something off about Wada #1 aka the boyfriend, it feels as if he's not into Takako as much as she's into him, and something clearly went on with the Uncle and Momoko - it's all mystery these past few chapters!!

I love how the author is including who each character is and their significance, it helps me remember where I left off!

Every time I read a chapter of this book recently it's just pain and suffering and i don't know how to feel about it all 😔💔

It's so funny rereading this knowing everything I know, the signs and information was there but because of how the story flows it's hidden so nicely, the story building is always crazy in Sarah J Maas' stories though!

I'm actually in shock... I don't have anything profound to say about this.
