Super slowburn, which is something I like but I feel like it's missing depth

I'm not feeling this. It's completely different than the first four books and Kryxis is completely unhinged. In a sort of crazy but endearing way. Like an adult that since his childhood was alone and doesn't know how to behave. But it's exhausting to read honestly.

This reminds me extremely of "Pulled Away" by Siena Sloane. But I like this one more, because I feel Adam has better excuses, it can be hard to break away from toxic family members, not that that makes his behaviour better. It's good that Caitlin broke up with him.

I think so far it's my favourite book of this series, definitely better than book 2 and 3

This is definitely a strange story, not bad, but unusual. I would categorise it as space comedy, because it's quite funny, with her speaking dog and the misunderstandings. I'm just not sure if I'm really invested in the romance though

I don't understand why people genuinely want Vincent to live. He might love Oraya in a toxic kind of way but he deserves to die.

I'm not sure. This feels too much like Insta-love, I mean he's into her from the first moment because of the bond 😩

Part Two starts. 🥰 The story is pretty similar to Manacled, I hope part two will be as good as in Manacled too.

I skipped through all the Ruben/Jules scenes in the previous book because this was the story that interested me the most.
