Figured I'd go with a trustworthy figure for my first audiobook.

I'm going to guess "Leave This Book On Your Reading List For Six Years" is not the title to Chapter One.

I just learned this is 1000 pages, oops.

Forgot this lil guy to finish off the full series.

My main question going in: Will I hate this as much as my wife did?

Wanted to finish witchin' it up in 2024 but alas.

Part of me is a little worried about getting sucked into another series so close to the end of The Expanse, but I've gotta support my fellow Poles! Sapkowski is so scowly and mustachey in every photo.

I don't think I'm going to enjoy this.

I have looked at this book's front and back cover countless times growing up. Time to open and read it for some lulz.

I started to read this is a public place but changed course immediately.

I saw this on a bookshelf of a swanky cocktail bar and tipsily took note of the ridiculous name. And now 3.5 years later, I give it a try. Wish me luck.

This is really STANDing in the way of me ever reading another book again.

I think I've gotta pause on this one and get the physical version from the library. The kindle version is full of typos and weird spacing, and I don't think it's supposed to be this hard to tell from whose perspective you're reading. Can't deal with that for 600 more pages.

This book is super weird. But good! But endless.

This is a long ass book, it better be worth it.

I get why this series has such a cult following. I'm having a good time. Already committing to the next one unless something super dumb happens.

I think I am donezo with this one. A little too much editorializing given the subject matter, and my god is this dry. Hard to follow a consistent thread when the author dives so deep into so many individual stories.
