This book helped me a lot in responding better to my children. I didn't necessarily write out scripts, but the reminders were exactly what I needed.

Eighteen people hiding in an underground bunker that a Polish family helped dig to hid them. There were approximately 5,000 Jews in Zolkiew, Poland, before WWII. At the end of the war, she and her parents numbered among the approximately sixty who survived. Wow! Wow! and WOW! I think this was the hardest one I've read so far but it is amazingcat the same time! Highly recommend it!!!

Y'all!!!! THIS. BOOK. I've grown up knowing about the five missionaries that were speared. But that's about it, just knowing what happened on that horrific day on a beach. This is the story of the after...the story written by the son of one of those missionaries killed. And it is mind blowing!!!! It truly is impossible...but God. Everyone should read it!!!

This was a great book! The author was authentic and real and gave practical, godly advice on how to walk out if perfection into freedom. I love that she had a short Bible study that went along with each chapter to go deeper or even for a Bible study group to use. I also liked that at the end she listed "Fifty ways to leave your perfect"...one thing a day to meditate on for fifty days.

Very good book. We are all "in the midst of the grind" living life. This was a good reminder - a fresh breeze - for me to see where I need to re-prioritize time with my husband.
