I loved The Memory Police and this book is pulling me right in. Very different- it’s the story of Tomoko moving in with her aunt/uncle/cousin for a year. The book is like a happy memory from childhood.

I’m having a difficult time because there are so many characters. I wish there was a character summary and who is on what island.

I’m listening and I feel like these characters are all old friends. Fiona Shaw is spot on as the narrator. I’ve grown to love all these characters.
