Why did Odysseus attack the Cicones?
Breaking into someone's house and eating their cheese is a good way to end up on their bad side. No wonder he almost immediately started killing Odysseus' men.

What does it say about my mental state that I have entire lines from the show memorized to compare this with.

Absolutely tragic. And a bit too relatable

The writing is a bit stilted. I've heard that it gets better as the series goes along, but for now it's a bit awkward in places. She writes dialogue really well though.

Why are they talking about this baby like it's an adult? Babies aren't going to react "rationally" or know what to do when their mother cries. Comparing Pearl to a fairy creature is pretty silly too. I think all toddlers run away from their parents and want to play??

It would be quite funny if people bragged this much in real life

When people today complain about artists not getting paid enough, I think they're often comparing streaming profits to the CD profits of the late 90s. And there is not going to be any comparison with half a billion in CD sales caused by monopolies and backdoor deals. Artists didn't see enough of that money then, and they certainly won't now with less total profit unless the record execs take a cut. And they won't.
