Currently intrigued by the general notion on the book and its descriptions of animal behavior, but displeased by the author’s complete rigidity against plant consciousness. Carl Safina speaks strongly against the scientists’ denial of animal consciousness, yet possesses the same kind of prejudiced rigor against plant consciousness. He even says the exact same things anthropocentric scientists say.
