This is a lovely book, lots of imagery and a character i could empathize with. Made me want to visit Tasmania again.

Really enjoying it so far. The contrast in storytelling styles as we hear from each character is very effective at creating mood.

A bit more of a return to inexplicable supernatural events, I enjoyed this one!

Flashbacks to the book 'See Jane Run', by Joy Fielding...

Sounds like she's had a personality transplant while she was gone!

Jjust up to the bit where she's rebuilding the bikes with Jacob, and admitting she really likes Jacob. Seriously, why would she want to be treated like a child by Edward who is cold and dangerous and abandons her, when she's got lively, vital, friendly Jacob to turn to for solace? The writing is simple (easy to read) teen fluff but I'm enjoying it nonetheless. It doesn't have to be war and peace to be any good.

So far I like the writing style, from the point of view of Barry, father of Brian, although the easy fluid speech-style writing makes it feel more like its written by the dad from those Crim-safe commercials on the radio!
