reading again after a looooong reading slump. we are so back !!!!!

slow start but I am invested now. the world building is incredible. this book is pretty much built on political intrigue-- loyalty vs betrayal, power vs poverty etc etc.

....the murder mystery plot has now began. finally.

can’t remember the last time I was this invested in the characters’ flirting and banter. makes me wish they get together a lot later in the book just so we can prolong the tension
