Enjoying the mystery of it all.

Did not like the last part of the book. The ending was more of a letdown than I thought it would be.

Part 4 was good. The part where we get the other side of the story. Then it went back to the original and I quickly lost interest. I’m sure it’ll be good in the end. We’ll see! (Or hear, as it were)

Driving to the hospital to keep Mom company during Dad’s gallbladder surgery and then home.
At least stuff is happening, which has killed some of the flowery language, thank goodness!!

Hey, some stuff started happening again.

Ugh!!!!!!! I literally skipped through 5 minutes and didn’t miss ANYTHING! Then there was a gross scene I didn’t need the details of. If I had the physical copy I’d throw it across the room!

Ugh!!! It’s like the Dutch House all over again!!
“Taut balloons of my lungs”?! WTC is that?!
Not every noun has to have one or two adjectives with it! There’s no damn story! It’s just a rambling of things like how raindrops looked, what lightning looks like, what birds are doing. Holy hell! I was literally yelling at the author in my car and finally just turned it off!!

That’s apropos. The percent. This book has so many cringey phrases.

This author could have used some better phrase, right?!?!

Still not liking this book. At least it’s more interesting now.

The part about rainbows on Mars. Ugh. This book isn’t good.

I'm not liking it so far. It's boring. It's more social-emotional than I thought. However, I'm just getting to the part of launch, so hopefully things will LOOK UP!!! Hahaha!!

At 33%, around a month ago, this title returned to the library, and they no longer have it in their stacks.

I love this book so far! I love that Mark narrates it himself. It feels like he’s telling you the stories in person. He seems like such a gracious, genuine person. (I hope that’s true.)

Audiobook. The narration puts me to sleep. Nothing happens in 25% of the book. Just explanations about people. At 15% I thought there was hope, but then it just got horrifically boring again. Returned to library early.

It’s funny and interesting.
