God this man is insufferable. I actually cannot stand him. He’s a wicked, helpless, entitled, oblivious, and cowardly individual. He’s everything I hate about humanity. He’s everything I hate about myself. But in my interpretation, that is the whole point of this book. To craft a character so despicable it makes you self reflect if for nothing else to ensure you don’t possess any of these traits.
