Ppe protection is redundant

Boring narrator. Thankfully they’re short stories because the narrator does no justice to them and would utterly ruin a full length story

Again with the weird or just poor writing - “we want to talk with you about Todd.” “Told? Why do you want to talk with me about Todd?” I noticed how he answered a question with a question. — first, you didn’t ask a question, you made a statement. Second, it would be perfectly normal to ask why you want to talk about Todd after asking completely different questions.

Oddly minute details on randomly things like her going to the bathroom like we don’t know what people’s processes are when in there. Nonsense filler.

Random weird contrary verbiage and odd phrasing. He hadn’t been expecting the knock but he was waiting for it? Ummm isn’t that exactly what expecting is?

But when Cj arrives Gerri points out that ice is always the first to arrive. So which is it? Wait - they had two days off, a day to indulge a day to recover but we just had all that intro about how everyone is ragged from going right from work to screwing people to work and being exhausted?

Writer can’t seem to remember what they wrote and is redundant. Saying someone is habitual at something and “always” is redundant and Ferris done this a few times. First we have Paige arriving first and she’s habitually punctual but two sentences later Paige is the last to arrive. Lol is she magic?

The narrator speak so slowly you need to put it on 1.5 or 2x speed for it to be normal. Also she reads in a cadence and tone like she’s reading a book to some kindergarteners. Also, also - randomly hits “k” super hard for no reason.

Has the author ever gotten a tattoo before? Of course she would bleed a little. Drinking the night before has nothing to do with it especially since a drink takes about an hour per drink to wash out of the system so multiple hours the night before wouldn’t have anything to do with her bleeding. Everyone bleeds a bit with tattoos. You’re getting a needle jammed into your skin!

This guy must be a crap cop because he does one or two extremely basic things and then just throws his hands up saying he exhausted every method. Actually it’s just one more example of lazy writing. This could have been used to build a great deal of tension for the reader as he tries to find different things without it becoming boringly repetitive but the writer failed to even bother.

Defiantly a book written by a male as clearly indicated when he mentions the dude rapes the girl and then immediately after finding out it happened kisses the girl (and writes it that she kisses the guy back). First, there’s a major story that’s being ignored for this needless side drama to be included. Second, while women are sexual after an attack this was written so bullishly.

It’s hard to write a Groundhog Day without being boring - even harder when you have a lackluster skill of the language, which is the case here. Almost all guides on how to write a good and exciting book are thrown out or just ignored. Boring descriptions that are unimportant. Sooooo much telling and very little showing.

Antibiotics for one (even two) weeks is understandable but IV ones for a whole week? Lol ummmm, no. That’s so impractical not to mention way overdoing it especially considering he’s chatting up a storm seemingly a-okay despite a brief death and third degree burns. So far the medical has been pretty accurate but for some reason this whole segment is way wrong.

Lol wait what? When did she have time to drench gauze in antibiotic ointment much less apply it to his back when she was focused on actually just doing cpr.

If she was working in handro this whole time how the hell does she know how Dallas died? Not to mention even if she knew it was from a blast to his back there’s zero way she’d know the spine was severed much less in multiple places without a full autopsy

Handro has third degree burns in his back and she was doing cpr this whole time and he comes back and is talking to her just fine as if him lying on his back (otherwise she couldn’t do cpr) is just fine for him. Also, only 2 mins without oxygen definitely won’t cause brain damage. That’s an average time we hold our breaths in pools lol.

You do NOT go from prospect to a fully patched member of an MC. You earn segments of your colors such as bottom rocker, top rocker, and then the main patch which is the club icon to be fully patched. It takes more than a couple of weeks to get any of these patches.

Right off the bat the narrator is terrible. Really weird inflections. Hard accentuations on random words. Oddly chipper. And wayyyyyy too many big gasps because they don’t have good breathing control

Yes you’re supposed to give your character obstacles but this is ridiculous how much time it takes for this guy to do any single thing. Every age isn’t supposed to have an obstacle. The amount of time wasted on needless descriptions - which are is lists sometimes - is nothing but page filler that does nothing to propel the story. This “vicious” interrogation and all Adair can use is “bonked” several times

Again needless medical /injury stuff. What was the rock wal made of? Glass? To slice through leather gloves and his hands? Seriously? And then even having to put her finger on gunner’s arm? Most people clot very quickly especially from a little needle. And are we seriously supposed to believe that she would have the thought to do while being kidnapped and sold into slavery?

Prospects NEVER go from prospect to a fully patched member. They earn their colors in stages which consists of top and bottom rockers and the main logo and the main patch is always last

Makes such a much bigger deal medically to just make up page wasting drama instead of actually writing anything that propels the plot and yet one more example of how these writers wind up with more books than necessary and don’t seem to understand quantity does not raise quality.
