How did it take me so long to realise Graham Norton isn’t only fabulous on TV but also brilliant on the page? Late to the party but thrilled to have arrived, I am addicted to this book. What’s locked inside the hidden chest freezer? 🧊

It’s a slog! Attributable to the nauseating pretentiousness of the central characters.

Thus far, it’s an aggressive reminder that oftentimes, the ostensibly progressive, open-minded, culture enthusiasts are just as rigid, judgemental, and narrow in their worldview (scrunching their noses at anything less than biodynamic wine in a zalto glass, lord give me strength!) as those they profess to detest.
