Homegirl is making me nervoussssss

Trying to gather my own thoughts as I enter the last quarter. This book is trying to say a lot and often when meaning is shrouded in metaphor, I let myself enjoy the world of it for awhile until the meaning becomes obvious. I'm still struggling to understand what is being said here. I think it is because some of the things I personally ascribe as "good" are being used as symbols of "bad" and vice versa.

This whole "working" thing is really getting in the way of my reading progress 😞 loving this weird book so far
