Intense. And really really fucking good. Long and still hard to put down.

Had to skim the blackjack section a bit. Rough. I've heard this author is known for (gratuitous?) violence in his books and...yeah. The last bit of that chapter is so visceral and is haunting me. Still, so propulsive. Hard to put down. Eager to keep chewing through this.
